Major CAL honor for Cape Tech star

The Middle Township Recreation seventh- and eighth-grade boys basketball team wrapped up a championship season earlier this month.
The team went 25-5 overall during the 2018-19 season, including an unbeaten run to the South Shore League title. Middle also competed in a handful of tournaments, winning the Scoop Taylor Tip-Off Classic and placing second at the Absecon March Madness Tournament.
The team is scheduled to be honored by Middle Township Committee early next week.
