Dennis Township youth basketball champions

Glassford Builders won the Dennis Township Recreation grades 3-4 basketball championship recently. The following are results from championship games played in the Dennis Township Recreation youth basketball league:

GRADES 3-4

Glassford Builders 28, Sturdy Savings Bank 8: Paul Simmerman tallied eight points and Alex Covarrubias added six points for the winners. Joey Povio, Dakota Laughlin, Joshua Marchaiano and Nick Meehl recorded two points apiece in the loss.

GRADES 5-6

EZ Dock 31, AFS Mechanical 30: Jake Frie netted 15 points and J.J. McGroarty chipped in nine points in the win. Rylee Morrow topped all scorers with 17 points and Isabelle Toland added nine points in the loss.

GRADES 7-8

Cape Regional Miracles Fitness 60, EsCape May Escape Rooms 43: Ben Lynch swished 25 points and Troy Billiris sank 18 points for Miracles. Vinny Povio posted 25 points and Angelina Lorenzo added nine points in the loss.
