Updates on former Raiders

By TOM WILLIAMS

Tori Rolls (freshman-Montclair State) saw limited time in the first three games when the Red Hawks were 0-2-1. Since she moved into the regular rotation, adding speed to the lineup, Montclair has been 5-0-1. Tonight, in a 2-2 tie with William Paterson, she had an assist and scored her first varsity goal. She also had an assist in a 3-0 win over Rutgers-Camden. MSU will host Rowan on Saturday. Down the road, the Red Hawks will visit Stockton on Oct. 19.

Kasey Clifford (freshman-Westminster College) shot a team-best 84 (43-41) for a runner-up finish in the 51-player field at the Grove City Invitational. And she had a two-day total of 173 to finish 10th in the Allegheny Invitational. Clifford had earlier been named Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Week after shooting an 85 in the Mount Union Fall Invitational. Westminster is back in action Sunday in the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational in Washington, PA. The PAC Championships are Oct. 7-8 in Vienna, OH.
