CoastSportsToday Female Athlete of the Week: Sophia Braun, MTHS

Sophia Braun, a sophomore on the Middle Township High School girls swimming team is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Braun was part of four first-place finishes to help the Lady Panthers beat Oakcrest to clinch their second straight Cape-Atlantic National Conference title on Monday.

On Friday, Braun broke school records in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle at the CAL championship meet. Both previous records had stood for seven seasons. Braun was also part of the 400 free relay team that also broke its own school record.
