CoastSportsToday Female Athlete of the Week: Sam Mancuso, Lower Cape May

Sam Mancuso of the Lower Cape May Regional High School girls tennis team is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Mancuso, a sophomore, plays No. 1 singles for the Lady Tigers and has posted a 6-5 individual record for a team that is 8-3 overall after a 4-1 victory over Holy Spirit in the first round of the Southeast B Region Tournament.

Mancuso is one of the most improved girls tennis players in the region. She was not among Lower Cape May’s varsity rotation last season as a freshman but returned this fall to claim the top spot in the team’s lineup.
