CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Middle Township High School boys soccer team won its second straight game thanks to a first-half offensive barrage Saturday morning.

The Panthers scored all of their goals in the opening half en route to a 6-1 victory over Cape May Tech.

Middle (3-2-1) received goals from six different players. Vinny Povio led the way with a goal and two assists, Cameron Odom posted a goal and an assist and Gavin Quinn, Oscar Sanchez, Matt Sgrignioli and Xander Hardin each added goals. Brendan Davis, Steve Berrodin and Landon Osmundsen chipped in an assist apiece.

Starter Braiden Scarpa, Gavin Dolack and Devon Bock split time in goal for Middle, which has conceded just five goals in six games.

Danny Martin scored in the second half for Cape May Tech (0-4-1). 

Middle next plays Thursday at 6 p.m. at home against Mainland. The program will hold its Senior Night ceremonies during the contest.

Cape May Tech is next in action Tuesday at Lower Cape May.
