CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week: Alyia Gray-Rivera, Wildwood Catholic

Alyia Gray-Rivera of Wildwood Catholic Academy is the latest CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Gray-Rivera, a member of the Crusader girls cross country team, is one of only two current Cape May County high school athletes to be named a first team Cape-Atlantic League all-star in fall sports for four straight seasons. (Ocean City girls soccer player Faith Slimmer is the other.)

Gray-Rivera is also a member of the Wildwood Catholic girls basketball team. A point guard, she helped the Crusaders win a share of the CAL United Conference title and reach the CAL Playoff Tournament semifinals last season. Gray-Rivera also is a member of the school’s track team.
