High school basketball set to return to 98.7 The Coast, CoastSports.com

Live play-by-play coverage of Cape May County high school basketball is set to return to 98.7 The Coast WCZT-FM radio for the 27th straight year.

The 2021-22 high school basketball schedule on 98.7 The Coast includes as many as 21 regular-season games. The station will also cover the Cape-Atlantic League and Tri-County Conference playoffs in late February, in addition to the state tournament, which is set to begin on Feb. 28.

Coverage will include games involving teams from Cape May Tech, Lower Cape May, Middle Township, Ocean City, Wildwood, Wildwood Catholic and more.

All games scheduled to air on 98.7 The Coast will also include a live video stream available on the CoastSportsToday.com website, as well as the Coast Sports Today Facebook page.

Brian Cunniff and Buddy Tarbotton return as the main broadcast team for the 27th straight year.

The 2021-22 98.7 The Coast/CoastSportsToday.com high school basketball broadcast schedule is slated to begin on the opening night of the regular season when Middle Township travels to Cape May Tech on Friday, Dec. 17.

The following week features a number of local rivalry games as Middle goes to Wildwood Catholic on Tuesday, Dec. 21; Cape May Tech hosts Wildwood on Wednesday, Dec. 22; and Lower Cape May hosts Middle on Thursday, Dec. 23.

The broadcast schedule continues following the Christmas holiday with numerous games at the Boardwalk Basketball Classic at the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Thirteen more regular-season games are scheduled to be broadcast in January and February.

The 2021-22 98.7 The Coast/CoastSportsToday.com regular-season broadcast schedule consists of as many as 16 boys games and six girls games.
