ERMA — The Lower Cape May Regional High School boys lacrosse team used a fast start to gain its latest victory.
The Caper Tigers scored the first six goals of the contest and rolled to an 18-8 win over Barnegat Thursday afternoon.
Macky Bonner scored four of Lower Cape May’s first five goals on his way to posting a game-high seven goals to go with one assist. Taj Turner was also a major factor offensively with four goals and five assists and Matt Brown chipped in three goals and two assists.
Jake Robson, with two goals, and Dennis Sera and Gavin Hill, with one each, also scored in the victory. Quinten Hagan made 12 saves on 20 shots in goal.
Lower Cape May improved to 4-1 with the win. The Tigers are next in action Tuesday at Vineland.
