Cape Express youth soccer scores

The following are results from recent games played by Cape Express youth soccer teams:

GIRLS

U-8 White vs. Moorestown Gunners: Avery Proud and Casey Day led the offense. Katie Wheeler had the assist on Alex Grier’s goal. Allie Maxwell played outstanding in the net. Maggie King and Anna Shaw were outstanding on defense.

U-9 vs. SWSA Power: Both Lauren Davenport and Caelyn Domsic were outstanding on the field and in net. Unbelievable effort by Emma Vince, Parker Milstead and Ainsley Frederick aided the U-9 team.

U-12 Blue 3, Harrison Hornets 1: Carmen O’Hara netted the first goal on an assist from Ashley Seigel. Bella Gibboni scored twice on assists from Carmen O’Hara and Regan Flickinger. Julia Calderon led on defense. Grace Murphy and Fiona Gale held Harrison to just one goal.

U-14 Cape Express Fusion 4, Lawrence Heat 0: Kayla Kilroy scored two goals in the first four minutes of the game. Eva Dimitrov took a free kick from outside the 18 a few minutes later and put it in the back of the net. Kiki Soto added a late goal on a rebound from another Dimitrov free kick to finish the game. Delaney Robb posted her fourth straight regular-season shutout.

BOYS

U-10 White vs. SWSA Kings: Gavin Hirsch scored a goal while Aiden Flanigan, Britton Walls, Samuel Casterline and Luca DelConte were strong on defense.

U-11 White 3, Franklin Township Warriors 3: Cape came out strong by scoring two goals in the first half via Colin Jastremski and Dominick Marrero. In the second half Franklin scored three goals to take the lead. In the last minute of play Adam Boubbache scored a goal from a pass from Jack McLeod to tie the game for Cape. Philip Woodrow, Ryan McGrath and Connor Rowlands anchored the defense. Joe Berrodin and Ryan Gibson played outstanding in net.

U-12 White 3, Vineland Raptors 3: Alex Avilla scored two goals. Simon Hardin and Alex Avilla each had an assist. David Del Conte and Deron Azille held down the defense.

U-13 Thunderbolts 8, SJEB Rush 1: Cape came out on fire in the first half by scoring five goals. Steven Berrodin netted two. Jerome Licata, Parker Kistler and Jimmy Kane also scored. In the second half they added three more goals from Kai Lindsay, Braden Brojakowski and Toby Worster. Landon Osmundsen and Ethan Morford added pressure for the offense. Luke McCrossin and Tommy Shagren were solid on defense.

U-14 Union 2, South Harrison Bandits 2: Miguel Valencia scored both goals for the Union in the comeback draw, which allowed them to hold onto first place in their division. Anthony Avila had an assist. Troy Genero and Dan Kotb played well in the draw.
