Ava Troiano of the Wildwood High School softball team is the first CoastSportsToday.com Female Athlete of the Week of the 2021 spring sports season.
A junior on the softball team, Troiano sparked her team to a 5-4 comeback victory on Friday by blasting a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
The win was the first of the season for Wildwood (1-2).
